Dr Rakesh Patalay
President Rakesh is a Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatology Surgeon with nationally recognised expertise in skin cancer imaging, Mohs Surgery, Lasers, Lentigo Maligna and Acne Scarring treatment. He has a PhD in skin imaging and is an experienced injector in cosmetic dermatology. He is the clinical lead for skin cancer at Guys Hospital and the regional teledermatology service.

Dr Jonathan Kentley
Trainee Representative Jonathan is a dermatology specialist registrar with a strong interest in cosmetic dermatology. He has spent a year training in cosmetics and lasers in New York and has completed an American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery Mentorship, as well as the BCDG injectables course. He is passionate about ensuring that dermatologists receive the necessary training to become leaders in the industry.

Dr Faisal Ali
Treasurer Faisal is a Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatological Surgeon at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology. He has expertise in skin cancer, skin surgery, laser treatment, botulinum toxin, fillers, peels, general dermatology and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr Clare Kiely
Executive Member Clare is a Consultant Dermatologist, Dermatological and Laser Surgeon at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology. She is fellowship trained in skin cancer, advanced dermatological surgery, Mohs surgery and lasers. She has a Masters degree with distinction in skin ageing and aesthetic medicine.

Dr Emma Craythorne
Past President Emma is a Consultant Dermatologist with a special interest in lasers and Mohs micrographic surgery. Emma has expertise in all areas of skin scarring, skin cancer, general and cosmetic dermatology.
Emma runs the UK’s only service for detecting and managing skin cancer using reflectance confocal microscopy. |
Dr Hayley Leeman
Secretary Hayley is a Consultant Dermatologist & Dermatological Surgeon at the Royal Free NHS Trust in Hampstead, London. Hayley has expertise in early detection of skin cancer, skin surgery and cosmetic dermatology. She is co-director of the BCDG Injectables course with a passion for improving cosmetic training for dermatologists in the UK.
